I started contemporary dance at an after-school class in Leicester and very quickly realised that I was quite good at it and decided I wanted to pursue it as a career.
I auditioned for the Laban Centre for Movement and Dance and moved to London. Although Laban was an outstanding dance school, it was not for me as I wanted more overall musical theatre training. So I went instead to the London Studio Centre, where I studied Ballet, Jazz, Singing, and Drama and obtained my performing arts diploma.
After having my daughter and moving to north London, I discovered that my neighbour (and later my mentor) Heather Sampson owned a Pilates studio. I tried Pilates and loved it, and Heather trained me to be an instructor. I obtained my Pilates Certificate at Pilates International in Highgate.
I have been teaching Pilates for nine years now and am very experienced with Pilates equipment and mat work. I get tremendous satisfaction and joy in teaching and seeing my clients progress during our sessions.
